The Kaelian Empire urgently calls on all citizens to use caution in mixing the powers of different magical systems. Doing so can lead to disastrous consequences.
In two separate incidents in recent weeks, the very fabric of reality was ripped asunder as aspiring magicians unknowingly mixed the powers of our world’s two separate magical systems, known by their practitioners as “Ars Nouveau” and “Primal Magick.” In both cases, it was necessary to appeal to the Great Admins to remove the offending equipment from existence before the world could be made whole again.
It seems the inciting incident in both cases was the use of Ars Nouveau’s Scribe Table in too-close proximity to storage containers from Primal Magick. As a result, the Scribe Table attempted to access the inventory of the Primal Magick containers in a way that broke the world’s very foundations.
Researchers in the Magical Arts at Wolverton University are confident that the problem lies not with Ars Nouveau itself, but rather with an unexpected reaction between the two systems.
While the researchers delve into the precise cause of this issue, and search for a solution to repair our world, citizens are warned to keep the equipment – tables, workspaces, storage containers – of the two magical systems a good distance from each other.
It is highly recommended to devote separate spaces to each magic system, as the interaction can affect not only the magic practitioner themselves.
In extreme cases, the entire world could once more collapse in on itself, throwing all citizens present into the void, placing them in danger and possibly causing them to lose short amounts of time.
The cataclysmic world-breaking event can push all active citizens as much as five to ten minutes into the past with only the knowledge of what happened, forcing them to remember and repeat their recent actions.
